Spirit Week Success

APS students and staff celebrated spirit week last week! We wore crazy combinations of clothes and just had a little fun!  The Spirit Week Days were selected by our Student Council and everyone was welcome to participate - from our smallest preschoolers all the way up to our superintendent, Mrs. Haertling!

Check out some pictures below of the 2021 APS Spirit Week:

Water Bottles

Please send a clean water bottle with your child to school each day.  They can refill it at school, but at this time there are no drinking fountains that can be used without water bottles.

Hoodies, Coats, & Jackets

As it gets colder please make sure your child brings something warm to wear out to recess. Please write your child's name or initials somewhere on each item to help us return them each day. If your child is missing an item, please check the lost and found.

All students must wear a mask on the bus.  This is a federal order and it is the only time that masks are required at school unless students/staff are close contacts.

Remember non marking shoes are required for school. We use the gym floor each day and want to keep it looking nice!

I am thankful for God the Father and Jesus. I am also thankful for my entire family including my animals. I have food to eat and water to drink and a warm comfortable house. The love that I share with my family. I love being able to hunt and being out in the peaceful nature. My family has enough money to live on. To be honest I am grateful for going to school with all of my friends. Mostly being able to live my wonderful life. These are all of the things that I am very thankful for.

I am thankful for our Lord. I am thankful for my Lord because he is our savior and I would not be here nor any of us if we did not have him. I am also thankful for my family, they love and care for me and I am thankful that they are in my life. I am thankful for the food and water we have. I am thankful for my house so I have a roof above my head to have shelter because a lot of people don’t have that. I am thankful for everything I have.

I am thankful for a life, have a roof over my head, and loving parents. I am thankful to live on a farm and to drive big tractors every day. I am thankful to have friends and 2 meals a day.

I am thankful for God, family, friends, and my teachers. I’m thankful for God because he gave such a beautiful planet to live on and a life to live. I’m thankful for my family, especially my mom and dad because they provide me with food, clothing, and a roof over my head. I’m even thankful for my brothers even though I want to punch them every day, I’m still thankful for them because they are some of the funniest, coolest, most-hardworking boys you will ever meet. I’m thankful for my friends because they always manage to make me smile and laugh. I’m very thankful for Sam and Emily because they always support me & my decisions, and they always manage to make my day better no matter if we are 30 minutes away from each other or if we are together. I’m thankful for my teachers because I wouldn’t have come this far in life without them. My teachers are the most supportive, most kind, and the most hardworking teachers you will ever meet. No matter how much attitude I give my teachers I will always love them (even Mrs.Moore). It doesn’t matter if I’m having a good day or a bad day, they always manage to cheer me up. I’m very thankful for the education that they have given me. I’m thankful for the life that I was giving and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I am Thankful for my family, happily together. The food that I’m fed, and a warm cozy bed with a roof over my head. I am thankful for my religion and the blessings I’m given. I’m thankful for my life and everyone that I love and the time spent with them.

-Bryce M

My dad has helped me go through a lot. He may lecture me a lot but I know he loves me and he knows that I'm not just an ordinary kid he sees a lot of potential in me but when I mess up he gets mad cause he knows I'm better than that. Without him I would be a waste of air.
My aunt and uncle  ,I stay up there a lot and they are a big role model for me.
Blair, she makes my day a lot better and makes me smile. She's amazing!!
God helps me the most through everything. He is my Number 1 !!!!!!!!!!
Also my teachers who have helped me get smarter and develop.
I love all of these people.

I am thankful for my friends because they helped me through a lot. I am also thankful for my family because they also helped me through a lot and they help me study. I am also thankful for my animals. I have a lot. First, Katie my dog's job is to look cute. Rea, my cat's job is to look cute. She does that but she also eats all of the cat food. Secondly is my other cat. We used to have 4 baby cats but we gave them away. My other cat is Haysle; we found her on the road she catches mice and she is so cute and she hates people. That Is all the things I am thankful for.
