Mrs. Julie Hecht

I received bachelor's degree in Social Work from Southeast Missouri State University in 1992.  Shortly after, I went back to college and received my certification in Elementary Education, 1-8 in 1997.  I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading.  I enjoy teaching third grade and being a Title I Reading teacher for the district.

 I live in Jackson, Missouri with my husband, Greg. Mr. Hecht is a the Fire Marshal for the City of Cape Girardeau.  We have two sons. Grant, our oldest, is currently a student at University at Buffalo. He is working toward his PhD in Aerospace Engineering. Our second son, Adam is served in the United States Army and now resides in Cape County making this mom very happy. He is currently working toward earning his Fire Fighter 1 and 2 to start his career in the fire service. All three of the men in my life are graduates of APS. I enjoy reading, long walks, and working out.
